Acceptable Use Policy

Your use of the LakeSail Services is subject to this Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”). Any capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning set forth in the applicable agreement between you and LakeSail.

You shall not, nor permit third parties to, use the LakeSail Services or access LakeSail Services of others to:

  1. develop or offer a service, product, feature, functionality, or interface that substitutes for, replicates, replaces or circumvents any LakeSail Services, or portion thereof, including through reverse engineering, intermediation, or use of outputs of LakeSail Services;
  2. attempt to (a) interfere with, harm, or disrupt the LakeSail Services, (b) permit or gain access to the LakeSail Services or connected or related Systems except as expressly authorized under the Agreement, (c) use any means to bypass usage limitations, or (d) grant others access to the LakeSail Services, or interact with the LakeSail Services through automated means (including through computer-use agents, robotic process automation, screen scraping tools or other software that simulates human interaction with the user interface of the LakeSail Services), except as authorized through a LakeSail validated integration;
  3. abuse or violate the security or integrity of any system of any party, including, without limitation, by storing, transmitting or installing malicious code;
  4. engage in or promote any fraudulent, corrupt, deceptive or similarly objectionable activities;
  5. cause harm to or violate the human rights of any person, including without limitation privacy rights;
  6. process, store, or transmit data or content in violation of any law or any third party rights, or
  7. except as expressly authorized under the Agreement, (a) use outputs of LakeSail AI services to create or improve AI systems, or (b) scrape, bulk or systematically export, or create persistent copies of any metadata generated by the LakeSail Services, which prohibition includes, without limitation, exfiltration of audit logs or credentials, or any actions resulting in a denial of service.

You may perform benchmark tests (“Benchmark”) of the LakeSail Services. Except with respect to Beta Services, you may disclose the results of the Benchmark. If you disclose, or cause the results of any Benchmark to be disclosed, you will include in such disclosure (i) all information necessary to replicate such Benchmark, and (ii) agree that we may perform and disclose the results of Benchmarks of your products or services included in such disclosure, irrespective of any restrictions on Benchmarks in the terms governing your products or services.

The AUP may be updated by LakeSail from time to time upon reasonable notice, which may be provided through the LakeSail Services or by publishing an updated online version of the AUP.
