Shehab sets the direction for LakeSail while actively contributing to the open-source projects pushing the boundaries of data and AI infrastructure. He grew up in the Bay Area and earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from UC Berkeley.

Heran leads engineering at LakeSail, focused on building the next generation of data infrastructure able to meet the demands of AI at scale. He holds a master’s in computational data science from Carnegie Mellon and a bachelor’s degree in computer software from Tsinghua University.

Peter shapes LakeSail’s corporate strategy and enterprise partnerships. Over three decades as a founder and CEO, he grew Granite Systems to $500 million in revenue before its acquisition, founded Intraware and took it public, led the collaboration platform Bluescape, and has served on the boards of DocuSign and Eventbrite. He holds a degree from UC Berkeley, where he mentors at the Haas School of Business.

Alexy builds the developer community around Sail and its ecosystem. He founded the Scale By the Bay conference and co-founded the AI Alliance, organized one of the first Apache Spark meetups, and directed open-source science at IBM Research. He holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mike owns the customer journey at LakeSail, making sure teams get real value from the platform from first conversation to production. He was VP of Commercial Sales at Bluescape, led sales development at PagerDuty, and managed commercial sales teams at Salesforce. He studied at UC Berkeley.

Everett runs go-to-market at LakeSail, from demand and growth to helping teams get started with the platform. He previously led marketing, growth, and consulting programs that scaled audiences into the millions. He holds a business degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and is completing a master’s in data science at UC Berkeley.

Dave works with LakeSail on strategic partnerships and enterprise go-to-market. He led channel sales and partnerships at Penguin Solutions, an AI infrastructure company, spent 16 years at SAP running various global sales and alliance/channel organizations, including a $500 million division, and serves as an operating advisor to Bessemer Venture Partners. He began his career at Oracle and holds a degree from UC Berkeley.
